  • I started using scratch, I remember it was a summer, that I decided to re-watch hotel transylvania and start using scratch.
  • Started learning html/css/javascript, used a wacky tutorial and made weird websites
  • OH GOD, python!, and AI. This is intresting, I learnt python in 3 days,
day 1: started with a networkchuck video.
day 2: Im reading googles AI library documentation.
day 3: made a handtracking AI module.
  • Got into AI a lot more, started reading the orgins of AI, and how it actually works. Thanks "sentdex" for the amazing book "neural networks from scratch in python"
Ofcourse I got to the chineese room thing, and kinda gave up on everything
  • STARTED UNREAL! parallel to AI and even exceeting AI through the year!
following weird af tutorials to learn UNREAL!
  • started to lose intrest in AI
  • GOT INTO UNREAL EVEN MORE!
made my first EVER project without following any tutorials
and then the second project came in the same manner
  • started the making of "When Pigs Fly", a story based game made in unreal.
  • I never had any teachers teach me computer or any development languages, that have actually teached me something.
BUT! this one guy at 7th grade, his job was a university professor, he teached computer science. Well, I had one year of class with him, he gave me the motivation to keep going. It was a REALLY fun class, we worked on image proccessing and AI.
    I miss those times
so we made something to improve on mcculloch & pitts heat/cold cognitive network
  • OH GOD, the deadline to the project with that teacher is near...
AND the model was done happily, made some scrap projects in scratch also
now we just needed an implementation of the model in some language/software...
  • UNITY!!
well that project with that teacher, I decided "a 2D project? unity is good for that!" but I didnt know ANY C#/C++/C NEITHER Unity
again "well its good for the project!?"
From one afternoon to late night till 3am, I stayed up, learnt unity to a good point, also learnt C# to a good point to make a project representing an AI model , without any tutorials!
It was both enough to publish the app, AND to make an appgame later!
  • After that project was done, month later I made an appgame called flapyy, You guessed it! a flappy bird copy. In Unity, again without tutorials! I guess staying up till 3am to learn an engine and a language actually had profit for me!
  • Kept writting and making the game "When Pigs Fly" through out all those events
  • Very unrelaited but you'll see the connection!
I made a minecraft server to play with my friend!
its an 18 year old computer (as of 2023), but still.
  • Well that server, I setted up docker, Jellyfin (movie streaming service maker pretty much), guacamole (pretty much anydesk), on the server
now I made some python scripts for sending me my public IP, and the new DNS host redirector.
  • Got a little into internet security, cuz of the server that was now running 24/7 in my house.
it took a dark turn, with tools like loic and hoic later. Started ip-grabbing to prank people lol. and now noone trusts me :(
  • I dont want to reveal anything about the story of "When Pigs Fly", so...
Kept writting and making the game "When Pigs Fly"
  • Kept writting and making the game "When Pigs Fly"
  • the game "When Pigs Fly" got cancelled, I unfortunately got demotivated, instead I decieded to test the waters by making short horror games instead of the ones I LOVE aka. long horror games which take you down a thinking rabbit hole, taking hours of your life by making you happy and giving you hope and inspiration whilst also being able to induce any and every emotion inside of you. that aside, I started working on a series of short horror games, "Don't let life blur"
development for the first game has started for months when writing this. the game is called monotone.
  • monotones development has been awesome, a more in-depth look into how these couple of months is available at Monotones devlog. I am so thrilled to say that monotones release is in the near future. I've colabrated with CianByrne for the music, and it'll just be epic.
  • Happy new year everyone reading this! it's been an awesome year for me and my games, and I'm hoping that Monotones will release this year
  • Here we are now!
